“If you make your decisions based on comfort, before long you will be uncomfortable.” -Adrian Rogers
I have heard it said that the best way to learn life lessons is during crisis, not comfort. A life lived without challenges is a life lived without faith.
I have been through periods of trials, as all believers have. I would have ended those trials if I could have. After all, they aren’t fun!
But the essential truths about trials are the lessons learned during and the blessings experienced after.
If we always decide to do things based on the promise of comfort, we will never be stretched. We’ll never grow. We’ll never experience what God intends for our lives when He calls us to go out on a limb.
And He will.
