Thanks for visiting! This is my personal blog. The title, Not a Camouflaged Soul, is taken from a song by All Together Separate. I believe that, as followers of Christ, we ought not live in fear. We should live our lives in a way that glorifies our Savior, and do so unashamed… in the open.

My Ministry

I am a pastor whose ministry has been comprised of all things discipleship, music, worship, media, small groups, and outreach. I’ve been privileged to have had the opportunity to work with churches in three states.

My Family

My wife, Jamy (follow her on Twitter), and I have been married eighteen years. We have two great kids, and we live in Henderson, Nevada.

My Interests

I love to make music. Piano, guitar, bass, vocal… whatever is nearby.

Technology fascinates me. Though I am by no means a pro, I do like to keep up with the products on the market. I’m also an unapologetic Apple junkie.

In addition to being a writer, I’m also a reader. I read news online, and I enjoy books from a variety of authors. I also consume podcasts at an alarming rate.

Exercise is important to me. I feel I need to be at my best physically, so I do what I can to stay healthy. I have a long way to go, but I enjoy the struggle.

Finally, my family is my first ministry, and I love spending time with them.
