I am fascinated by my God. Whenever I am going through a particular struggle, He regularly brings scripture to mind to help me reconcile my thoughts against His Word.
But then, I have to go to work. And if I’m not careful, I can lose my spiritual bearings in the busyness.
So, what to do?

In this age of mobile computing and smart phones, the ability to be concise with the written word is a valuable skill. As we navigate through a sea of seemingly endless data, it is important to get to the point.
I read a few months ago that communicating in a concise manner is becoming a necessary skill in the job market. In fact, the article made the assertion that as some technologies become commonplace, new skills emerge. Example: restricting one’s email subject to a few characters is advantageous, because a short subject will fit in the subject line of the iPhone’s Mail app. (more…)
I had something of a breakthrough in my 5K training today (check out the other Fitness with Apps posts here and here).
I’ve been semi-laid-up all week. Had the makings of a cold. Whenever I get a cold, it settles right on my throat and I can’t talk for a week. Since I spend my work day talking, I couldn’t really afford to be sick, so I’ve taken it easy for a few days, and that includes no running. As I am starting to feel better, I planned to run this morning.
