Unbroken Circle Part 2

As I mentioned in my last post, my daughter, Lydia, got saved after church Sunday night. Talk about a change of perspective.

Sometimes, life is confusing. It just is. And life can be hard. Everyone knows that. But when unexpected, joyful events take place, they brighten the dark and polish the dull.

This past week, my Sunday School class discussed the Bema Seat, or Judgement Seat of Christ, where all believers will be judged based on their faithfulness. All that we have done in this life will be tested, and what remains is all that is of value (1 Corinthians 3:12-15). It would benefit us all if we would look at our circumstances in life and gauge whether they are flammable or forever.

My petty problems? Wood. Hay. Stubble.

Lyddie gaining Heaven? Precious stone.

At the end of the day, what really matters?
