This weekend, our youth group at FBC-FH is participating in Disciple Now (D-Now), a gathering of area churches to study the Word of God and serve the community.
The focus for this year is leadership, and the slogan is His Story/Our Story.

I heard the other day that, years ago, people would sign their names and add the letters “DV.” This stood for Deo Volente, meaning if the Lord wills it.
What if we were to bring that back? I’m thinking about adding it to my email signature.
What a great reminder that our time on Earth is fleeting and that we need to trust in the Lord for EVERYTHING!
