If you have been following NoCamo for the past few days, you know that I have been documenting my thoughts and workshop notes from the National Worship Leader Conference. But I wanted to take a moment to be transparent, as is the purpose of NoCamo… Living the Christian life in the open.
I blew it again.
Whenever I get the chance to attend a conference, I tend to focus on gathering all the information I can. I push myself to hit every workshop, visit every booth, stay on point the entire time…
I miss some of the refreshing.
Not that I haven’t COMPLETELY missed out. I have throughly soaked in the worship and had the opportunity to simply PARTICIPATE without being on the stage.
But, as I mentioned, I have been pushing myself pretty hard to take everything in, and it’s EXHAUSTING!
Today, the last day of the conference, I am committing to being less intense.
To take it all in.
To ENJOY myself.
To learn from the Holy Spirit.
To tune out the responsibilities that await me upon my return.
To be PRESENT today.
Anybody else?
